"Negative training is used primarily for two reasons. Bodybuilders use it to get bigger, while powerlifters use insanely heavy weights for their training."

if your aim appears to be muscle growth, but there will be an increase in power as well, also called Concentration Curls.

Lifting weights that u cannot normally lift, example your max curl is 40 pounds, drop on 50 pounds and use your free hand to help lift the weight, release the weight and drop it with the workout hand slowly... focusing on dropping of the weight and not so much on lifting it.

This develops power and strength and defines.
I hear alot about people saying not to work out certain muscles every day, i workout abs and chest every day, push-ups and crunches are done every day, there is always time to drop 3 sets of 30 every day for each. They dont hurt as much and they always get more defined.

Pull-ups and Dips are very effective for back and triceps. also do 20-30 3 sets.
This can be harder for starters but i am able to do 50 push ups in 1 set.
