Hey everyone i dont know how many of you use red bell peppers but use them alot.To make the flavour really pop roast them.Just put youre oven on broil and move the rake to the top.Put the pepper on a baking sheet and turn the pepper every 5-8 miutes untill all sides are black or close to it. Then put it in a zip lock bag or cover a bowl with cing film and wait 15 min.The skin will come right off and you can use it in anything !!Salad dips even make a pasta sauce out of it Uber good.

i love bell peppers. the orange and red ones are my favourite!
I went round to the inlaws at the weekend for a BBQ. I panicked at the thought at first, but just took around some white fish with me and some mini sweet peppers. I just stuck it all on top of the bbq and it was delicious!

If you take all the colors and cut them up with cut up tomatoes and cook them in a pan with shrimp and Italian dressing..... they are so good.
I haven't made that in awhile, might have to do that next time peppers go on sale...

No, or at least I don't. You just wipe the blackened skin off and discard. The flavor of the pepper that is left is nice and intense and a little smokey/sweet.

Speaking of peppers, does anyone know how to make them more tasty for someone who doesn't really like the taste peppers? I don't like them at all, but my family likes to eat them and they get kinda miffed when I don't eat dinner with them when they have something with peppers. My dad particularly likes the red ones.
Besides that, they're really good for you and I would love to get the benifits from them.
Thanks!

If you don't like the taste of them but still want them in a meal. I would just dice them as small as possible and add them in something that is strong so you don't taste them.
Another thought, try putting something on them like zesty Italian dressing or something.
I don't know if I posted this or not, but I take them, the dressing, tomatoes and shrimp and cook it all up in olive oil- The peppers get really sweet and pasty. Really good.
