| You can so squat and push ups. You can also do a number of weight exercises with canned food instead of weights.

I second the push-ups and squats.
I once made some pretty good weights by covering two spare bricks with socks. The little holes made good grips. That was just about the right weight for the exercise where you lie on your back, raise the weights straight up over the chest, then open arms wide. Good for the pectorals.
What I do at home now are the Leslie Sansone walking videos. One video includes round balls that serve as weights after you fill them with water.

You can always check your local thrift shops for exercise videos and weights. Also, can get used equipment at garage sales.
Otherwise, good old push up will work. Plus, you can fill empty pop bottles with sand or something for weights.

I agree about the squats, sit ups & push ups as listed above & would also like to add:
Dips, i do them using my couch at home, I sit on the couch then lower myself down with my legs fully extended & push up & down with my arms...sorry if anyone else can provide a better description of dips please do!
Also I do a shoulder exersize with 2litre bottled water from my pantry. I take one in each hand & startwith my arms resting near my thighs & lift them right up untill they're touching over my head.
Legs- got any small children? I know it sounds funny but they make great weights...I used to use my little sister (im 17 years older than her!) to help me do leg presses, you lie on your back, have them lie on your feet, hold thier hands & push them upwards. They love it too, they will never know you're exploiting them! You can do squats while piggy backing them too!

| for upper body and extra weight use soup cans, and do the tricep curls for your arms. walking is the most excellent way to tone and firm your body and you can control how intense you make it. you can shake up a normal walk by jogging from one mailbox to another, its about creativity. any exercise you do using your own body weight is powerful as well. Sit ups, push ups, crunches, squats, lunges, jumping jacks (love them!) save 15 bucks, go to the KMART or Target or Walmart and buy Leslie Sansomes walk at home videos and you will see a difference! She makes you work all the muscles and break a great sweat!!! its the easiest cheapest way to go!
