Hey everyone,
I am soooo frustrated. I was doing so well losing about 1-2 pounds per week. I went from 170 starting in April 08 to now October 08 at 149. I have been at 149 since August! I have researched about changing my exercise routines and foods to break through but I already spin twice per week, kick-box twice per week and weight train twice per week all for an hour a piece. How much could I change my exercise routine to mix it up? Also I will eat any healthy food I'm not picky and I barely eat the same thing everyday, not to mention I do weight watchers and eat b/w 23-25 points per day. Does anyone know what could be my problem? Should I start running again and cut out something else? I have no clue, I'm so confused and I really want to hit my goal of 135 sooner rather than later! Please, any advice would help.

The thing about weight watchers is that it's great, but not exact. Try counting calories for a week and see how many you're actually taking in. Also look up your RMR on this site and see what your target range should be.
Also what is spin class? Sounds fun!

| You probably just aren't eating enough..especially with all the exercise you do. I'm not sure how points translate into calories, but try increasing for a few weeks and see if that helps....

Thank you for you feed back guys.....btw, spin class is a class on a stationary bike with a series of stands and sits and turning the intensity up or down, going fast or slow, very intense, and you burn a ton of calories!

| If one didn't want to go to class but wanted to get similar results, could you buy a stationary bike and do it at home? Just curious as I live in a pretty rural area where they don't have spin class (or at least I'm pretty sure they don't) but it sounds like great cardio, especially for when it rains and you can't get outside.

| I know how you feel! I've been the same 145-150 for 2 years! Ahhhh!!! I work out all the time and I have muscle now that I can feel and see, but still have all this fat around my belly, hips, and butt. I don't buy the "you're not eating enough" theory. I was down to 144 in the summer and everyone told me up my calories some...well I did, and back up to 150 went. Even though I was still working out a lot. Just keep up your workouts and eat sensibly.

Spin bikes are a little different than regular ones. I hate them! If you have a gym or a YMCA nearby, they will have spin classes. It's a pretty hot class these days.

Ok, I was at that same weight for about two years or so. But, I had a medical condition, so that does not help you.
I would say, instead of mixing up your exercise, mix up your calorie intake. Quit with the weight watchers thing, and figure up your calories.
Go, high calories then low. Your body is getting use to what you are doing, getting relaxed so to say. So, shock it..... keep it guessing..
It is really important to count calories and see where you are at. It could be many of things, from not enough calories to- to many calories.
And if you are doing more exercise, then you might need to up your calories.
I guess all in all, I would suggest doing the calculators on this site and see what you need for a day, and aim for that. If that doesn't work, then go extreme and mix up the calories.
