hi all!it s my first post here although i ve been watching the forums as a guest for quite some time now.
I started my nutritional program on September the 11th so i ve been on it for two months now.It s not very long but i ve lost so far 20lbs and have 17,6 more to go.( i m 5ft 8 and currently 161lbs).
The thing is i noticed that when i had my cheat day a week ago and i had some chocolate, that i used to love prior to dieting but i didn t like it.
It wasn t guilt cause i didnt have any.It s just tasted too sweet to me and i didn t like it.Also milk seems too sweet for me nowdays or even the chocolate cereal bars.
I have such a sweet tooth that i find all these really disturbing. It is not normal. Is it?
Also i dont have any crave for fattening foods which is really strange for me.
What is happening?I don t want to loose my apetite for food.I really like it.lol
Did it ever happen to you?
Thanks in advance!

Yes, its perfectly normal to stop liking the things you used to be addicted to. If you start eating those things regularly again, your desire for them will come back.

I do think things do taste different. Maybe after you get all the toxic crud out of your system for a while the natural things start tasting better.
As an example, I now prefer whole grain breads to white bread, and my toast without butter. When I eat butter I can literally taste the fat in it and it turns me off.

Sorry, but that doesn't work for everyone. I still crave all the same junk that I used to, even after months of not eating it.
On the plus side, foods that did not used to taste as good now taste much better. When I first started drinking Low Sodium V-8, it was a bit funky, but I've grown to really like the taste. Apples and oranges also taste sweeter than they used to.
