I'm posting this on this forum because it was here that I read great reviews about Turbo Jam.  I called yesterday to place an order and talked to a very nice customer service rep.  As it ususally goes, I had intended to place an order for the basic package but then she told me all about the additional packages you can get.  She was listing off so many things I got confused.  I said I just wanted to get the basic and she said, "please understand, the people on the infomercial who got the best results had the full package, not just the basic.  I told her I'd have to think about it and she told me I could order now, and call customer service later to cancel or change if I decided to.  So, I placed an order for the whole thing (~$120).  I got off the phone and immediately came to this site.  It seemed to me that you all are getting great results with just the basic package so I called to cancel the additional packages.  Well, this customer service number was at a different place and so my order was not yet on their system.  He told me to call back this morning to cancel.  So I did, and as it turns out, that free upgrade to express delivery is where they really get you.  By the time I called to cancel, it had already been shipped out.  So now they tell me if I want to return any of it I have to pay shipping on it.  If I simply refuse it and take it back to the post office and it gets lost, I'm stuck for the full $120.  I'm so mad at myself for being talked in to the extra stuff.  This is posted to warn the rest of you to not cave in to the pressure like I did.  Just get the basic and see how it goes.

Mandy, I avoided caving into the pressure and wound up paying a lot more later to get all the extra packages. Be glad you did it that way. I ended up paying closer to $160 with extra shipping. I LOVE all the dvd's. If you like it half as much as I did, you'll be glad you saved some big bucks!

I'm waiting for more programs to come out. Enjoy!:dog:

Hi Mandy - I ordered the basic set here online...and they also offered me savings on all the other dvds but I declined originally because I didn't know if I'd even like turbo jam.  Approximately one week after receiving the basic set I was totally addicted to this workout and kicked myself for not just ordering it all then.  It cost me an additional $114 to get the rest later on.  I don't know if this makes you feel any better; sorry you had to deal with such high pressure sales tactics - that gives the program a bad name.  I hope in the end you totally enjoy turbo jam and are glad you went the extra mile with the other dvds.

Thanks for the positive feedback.  I hope I like it as much as you both do.  I guess the only way to convince my husband to let me keep it all is to lose 10 pounds in 10 days.  I think the extra $$ would be worth it to him then

I also am kicking myself for not getting them all. I'm also upset because once I finally splurged on another package, a month later they combined it with the other one I don't have! Here's the kicker: It's the same price as I paid.
