I see a lot of forums about Turbo Jam. I would like to meet people who are doing Slim in 6 like me. How many calories are we burning? How are your results so far? Any other advice? I'm on my third week and already doing "Burn it Up" phase. Lost 8 pounds so far.
Thanks, everyone!

hi!!!
I did slim in 6 last year and had great results. Just to give you some of my stats...i did not lose more than 5 lbs but i went down to a size 6/8 from a 10. Jeans still a bit tough. I have stopped doing it because it does get incredibly boring and your body does adapt eventually (i was doing the most advanced one). You dont lose a lot of lbs but everyone noticed and said i looked like i lost 10-15.
I followed up with the slim series and would liek to get into that. I have been running at the gym again but feel "flabby" because slim in 6 will make u feel super toned. I got awesome arms, really great waistline, my booty looked good but i didnt like the muscles getting big in my thighs (thats just my genetics).
You cant really tell exactly how many calories per hour u are burning..that varies by body weight, and how much muscle/fat you have. Just know if you are sweating and losing weight you are burning a lot!
Congrats on ur weight loss. Like a lot of slim in 6'ers, i ordered turbo jam this week just for something different.

| That's kind of funny. I'm a TJer myself, and I just ordered Slim in 6 for a change of pace! I've been checking out what real people have to say about it, rather than just their fantastic success stories. I love TJ, but I get bored easily. Hopefully, I won't get bored in the 6 weeks it takes for Slim in 6.

| I have done Slim in 6, I got good results, but I think Turbo Jam is a better workout. Slim in 6 just got really boring after a while. Overall it's a great dvd to have.

I've never done the actual program, but back when I was in shape I did the workouts at random depending on how hard a workout I wanted. I found the workouts pretty fun and I liked Debbie Siebers (Seibers?), but reading the above posts and thinking about it, I can see why the same workouts everyday for 6 weeks would get a little boring. I think the key to that is to mix it up and maybe stretch it to "Slim in 12", and do something else for exersize every other day. It'd take longer to comlete the progrram, but you'd still get the same effects, and without the boredom!
(I don't know if this helps you any. Just thought I'd throw some ideas out there )
