ITS OBVIOUS THAT THEY AFFECT EVERYONE DIFFERENTLY. I WOULD LIKE TO LOOSE THIRTY POUNDS AND I THOUGHT THE PILLS WOULD AT LEAST GIVE ME A STARTING POINT. Well, here goes...

I just had to register and post here as I have not really read into weight loss forums before.  Here is my story..  I am 33 yrs old, a little under 6'0 and #%@&! near 300 lbs.  I have overweight people in my family and diabetes runs in both sides of my family.  When I was 19, I weighed 265 lbs and was just miserable.  I decided to try to diet AGAIN and this time on a friends advice, add Ripped Fuel (a thermogenic from back then) into my diet as a supplement for weight loss.  I cut back on red meat and did everything I could to not eat or eat very little.  I also stayed active with weight training as I always have tried to from time to time.  The results... I lost over 70 lbs in a 6-7 month period and looked and felt great!  Ripped fuel was a product that could only be taken for 2-3 weeks at a time and then 2-3 weeks off.  I heard about a product called Xenedrine back then and it was supposed to be the same thing only it did not require "rest periods" from it as it contained an ingredient that kept your body from developing an immunity to the effective ingredients.  I switched to it..  Over the next several months my weight started to come back on... I then tried other products with zero results.  as a matter of fact, it seemed like when I was taking pills, I felt fatter and even more bloated then when I did not!  I discontinued use of diet pills since then.  Now, I am in more need than ever of weight loss and no matter what I do, I see little or no results.  I stay as active as I can by walking 3-7 days a week (I am self employed and do not have a predictable schedule)  My walks are usually from 15 minutes to 40 minutes at most as well as Bowflex training whenever I can.  I also play Golf and other sports occasionally.  I know my diet could use a reduction in calories but even when I do this, I seem to lose a few pounds the first week and then cannot shed any more.  I also would like to mention that I drink water almost exclusively... I rarely have anything but.  I have now had high blood pressure and been on medication for it since 2005.  The doctor thinks it's also related to a mild case of anxiety I developed and have not been able to shake since we had a tragedy in our family.  I really want to lost 30-50 lbs but fear there is no way to accomplish this without aiding with diet pills or something.  Is there anyone out there who can give me some good advice on this?  Any luck with any pills or supplements that are safe for individuals with high blood pressure and aking meds for it?  I have consulted with my Dr and I just hear the same old thing.. "lose weight, diet and exercise"  I try follow his advice but never seem to get any more than 10 lbs of results or so.  I have also completed a detox program about a year ago and again.. lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks on a VERY VERY LIGHT diet consisting of fruits, veggies and lean meats only in very small portions.  Could not lose any more than that... Any advice???

Hi everyone =). My name is Esther. I'm a 21 year old asian girl.. at 164lbs.. height is 5'5.. SOOOOooo I've been reading up on everyone's updates.. and I just wanted to let you guys know of my results.

Today is Day 5. My weight this morning= 161 lbs. -3 pounds.

My daily routine: I sleep late.. so I wake up at around 10am.. I take my first pill at 11am.. 5 minutes before I eat a bowl of cereal.. I take the second pill at around 4pm.. 5 minutes before my lunch which is a 6inch sub from subway.. (dinner by the way i eat another 6 inch sub).

SIDE EFFECTS ON MY PART: Day 1.. I only took one pill to start... I was scared.. like everyone else to start.. After reading everyone's side effects.. I pretty much made myself paranoid.. and in return.. I had allllllllll the side effects like everyone. Nausea.. Headache.. spaced out. tired... sleepy.. exhausted.. moody.. down.. depressed. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT on a bright note.. I completely lost my appetite. Literally. I have a problem with eating.. I eat WAYYYYY too much.. and nothing has ever stopped my appetite.. not even being sick.. this is the first time i've ever lost my appetitte..

Day 2. Before I took my morning pill.. I mentally prepped myself... I told myself that I would be happy.. and i kind of tried to trick my mind into thinking I wasn't on any pill.. and you know what?! IT WORKED! I went throughout the day without any side effects accept.... 1.. 30 minutes after I eat and take my pill.. I get really sleepy for about 30 minutes.. but that wears out.. Besides that.. allllllll good =)

Day 3-5.. So far so good! I'm very active all day.. I don't let myself into a room where I can make myself paranoid.. I think that's the key.. TRY NOT TO THINK ABOUT IT. I'm excited.. I've lost 3 pounds... my official weigh in is on Wednesday so we'll see how it goes!!

have you actually tried having a doctor examine other conditions that you may have that is actually preventing you from losing weight? alot of doctors overlook certain things that have been known to keep someone from losing weight...like maybe a tapeworm u may having hiding in ur body, certain medications you maybe be on, thyroid problems,  elevated fasting insulin, undiagnosed mood disorders... if i were you i would discuss these options to be looked at by ur doctor. so many of them are so quick to write a person off as being lazy or not trying hard enough to lose weight but not really looking into the WHY factor. good luck to you hun

Hi All,

It's my 4th Day and I've lost 4lbs BUT....... I feel like I've had the heaviest weekend ever, I'm so bloated, haven’t been to the loo & Feel sick & hung over.

I'm extremely moody as well, this is all out of character for me, well apart from the loo part but my bowel actually feels swollen!!!

30mins after taking the Detox tabs I had excruciating pain in my tummy that lasted for about 5-10mins, actually took my breath away, but all I kept thinking was, no pain no gain!!.

I didn’t take the last lot of my Detox tabs yesterday, just couldn’t put anymore tabs in my body lol

Will continue the Apidexin for another week on their own and see how it goes, if they don’t work, I'll be back to my old faithful Actislim Ultra.

Good luck to everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,
I decided to stop taking the Apidexin as of November 12th. It took three days to get out my system as I didn't feel well until Saturday. My color came back in my face and my eyes looked brighter. I'm returning my order. Just to let anyone know I'm going to try "Acai Berry Power 500".

I ordered the Accai Berry and let me tell you, I have the worst time cancelling the order.  I keep being charged from different companies for different things.  I was told that I agreed to it and I did not so be careful.

hello everyone, I'm back again. I've had these pills for what seems like almost a month, I've been nervous to try them, and have been reading the forum everyday to see how you are all doing. I decided to go ahead with it today. Taking the dose as it says, the detox 3 pills and apidexin, 1 pill each meal time. I eat right after because I dont' want to feel sick like the others. So far so good, a little jittery i suppose but I think that's just from the caffine. I just wonder has anyone lost any weight from the detox like they claim? it says you loose between 5-15lbs which I know is a far stretch, just wondering if anyone has even like 2-5lbs from the detox? Anywho, i'll keep you posted as to how what happens next.

eating like normal, no side effects yet, but it is day one, so we'll see =) i'm trying to think positive.

I've been taking one a day for the past three days and have stopped feeling nauseous but I have this taste in my mouth that will not go away no matter what I try. I'm going to try two a day but will wait until Thursday because I have an exam tomorrow and don't really want to risk feeling sick during it.

Hi En,

Sounds like what you did the first time really worked well for you and maybe you should revisit that (YOu watched what you were eating got lots of exercise). If you are having a lot of health issues then that may be why you cant lose any more weight. Sometimes prescribed medications have weight gain as a possible side effect and sometimes the chemical interactions between the diet pills  and your meds may be part of the problem, and if you are under a lot of stress that too could contribute to your dilemma.

I would suggest that you try eating more veggies (dark Green ones)and legumes (peas and beans) fruits such as apples, oranges and and grapefruit and lean meats you can also try adding such fat burning items as Lecithen (2- 4 teaspoons a day of granulated) its very inexpensive and CLA (conjugated Lineolic acid) it is more expensive (I paid about 21.00 CAD for 90, 1000mg tabs which is about a 1 month supply) and you can try Yerba Mate tea (you can by it in teabags or loose) it is a mid price range but it is a snatural stimulant which will help stimulate your metabolic rate. Even though these are all natural I would suggest you do some research on the ineractions between what you are taking now (both prescribed and not)and what I suggested. I would also suggest you come to terms with what is going on with you and in your life and try and develop and maintain a positive attitude surrounding your attempt to lose weight.

As for me I have sent my pills back for the refund, I did not see any significant change in weight or size. What I am doing is continuing to try and build lean muscle mass and use natural remedies to help me acheive my goal of losing the fat around my midriff and possibly lose some weight. I watch what I eat, exercise strenuously 3 times per week and take a variety of all natural supplements. I have lost around 6 lbs over all but I am definitely thinner in my tummy, legs and backside. the other thing I have doneis decided not to focus on the weight loss but the loss of inches. Lean muscle outweighs fat almost 2 to 1.My workout weight differences have increased though, I went from 2-4 pounds per workout to 4to 8 pounds per workout. So I think hats ok!!

Hi All,

I've had to stop taking mine!

They caused major issues with my IBS, my stomach cramps increased over the 4days and I was so bloated last night I looked like I was pregnant!! I felt incredibly sick & felt like I had something stuck in my throat and kept having to burp, it was a very strange experience; my boyfriend pleaded me to stop taking them.

Sorry to be crude, but I'd rather inform people what to expect, although everyone is different!

My bowels felt swollen then usual and even though I was drinking a #%@&! of a lot more water, I'm still really dry and not going to the loo, but it's flushing my water works out!

Intense headaches, sleeplessness, increased wind, bad taste in my mouth, severe bloating and tummy cramps when eating!

I've never felt so hungry in my life; they don’t suppress your appetite at all.  All though the nausea turns you off a bit, but because that passes after a while it doesn’t help you lol

I bought mine through EBay, so cant get a refund but hey, we learn the hard way.

I'm going back to my Actislim Ultra :O)

Good luck to all of you

Well, Day 2 and I feel great!

more energy, I'm happy, feel super positive and Im normally very negitive at times (wish I wasn't but it's the truth) so this is good for me! I dont have any side effects at all, i'm not having any hunger pains, and I still can eat just fine. I dont have any headaches, and I normally get a headache, or migrain a day. So that's weird? I thought forsure I might get more, (based on other ppl's reactions) but I haven't. So I suppose this just goes to show, everyone reacts differently. 2 pounds down, but I'm sure thats just water weight, (plus you always flexuate 2-5 pounds.) So i'll wait a week to weigh myself again. O by the way, im 22yr old female, 175lbs, 5'6. Hoping to loose about 30lbs. I'll keep ya posted. Keep on thinking positive ppl and it just might work! =)

Hello All,

Hope your all doing well Apidexin. Today is the late day for the Detox Pills. I don't really feel like I've been on a detox. But I do feel less food cravings, and I almost feel as though I shouldn't eat anymore when I'm full, so I stop eating (so I dont' over eat!) i feel good about that, because when I was growing up we always had to finish what was on our plate (dont' waste it!) which has probably somewhat gotten me into this mess in the first place. =) .. now I haven't lost any weight, so I'm not sure it will be the 30lbs that I hoped for, but it might be a small step in the right direction! -good luck everyone, and remember wednesday is hump day ;) - which is a great cal. burner too! haha

I was reading how everyone was getting headaches and what not. Even though I am only on my first day I am wondering if maybe because people are just not drinking enough water. I have been sucking down water all day, and I have not had one headache yet. I know whenever I got headaches they were usually related to being dehydrated. I just took my second pill for the day and I am still feeling great. No sickness or headaches. There have been a couple of times I have felt spacey, but I usually am pretty spacey sometimes lol. I feel like I have a ton of energy right now. It's great to not need any kind of soda to keep me going through the day!

I did try the trial of Acai Berry and it done nothing for me.  When I cancelled I was charged $29.95 from a place called FitFactory.  When I callled I was told that I signed up for that when I ordered the trial bottle of Acai Berry, then just yesterday I was charged another $8.95 from Acai Berry for another program.  I advised once again that I had cancellled my order and they advised me you have to cancel everything seperatly.  I aked if there were going to be any more charges that I was not aware of and the woman hung up on me.

I still have not lost anything on the Apidexin, but I do feel like my clothes are fitting different.  I have only taken it for 3 weeks.  I am going to see what happens with the 2nd bottle.

Ok so it is day 2 for me, and I have not experienced any kind of side affects. So maybe I just lucked out! I did love not having the food cravings I have typically been having! I feel great and well energized...I did not feel exhausted or anything last night. I went to bed at my usual time and with no issues. My weigh in results will be done by weeks....so just six more day lol!!! Its so hard to not step on that scale every morning :)

Sounds Very familiar - we are from Aus. and we are just about to start taking Apidexin - Seems like a few side effects, but when you detox on anything your body starts to feel funny anyway - The only pill that I have tried that REALLY works is Duramine - however the side effects on those are really not worth the weight loss - I think its about setting small goals each week and not being to hard on yourself - BE KIND TO YOURSELF....

Hey - My advise is to go on lite n easy or the likes - Its hard but its the only way to loose weight comfortably and keep it off - I have taken every diet pill under the sun - yes Duramine works but you have such bad side effects and you don't keep it off - you could have a look at Body Trim which promotes eating like the cave men do - its easy enough until you break the dieters mentality - It all very hard, but try not to be hard on yourself - if you fall off just pick yourself up and keep going -

Hi,

I have-i'm on week 5 now (see earlier posts for my progress). I found that once I got passed the first few weeks, the side effects stopped. I put on 6 lbs in the first 2 wks but strangely lost inches from everywhere. I've lost 11lbs in total but that only been in the last 3 wks (6lbs of that 11 was what i put on so technically i've only lost 5 since i started 5 wks ago). My clothes are all loads looser. I'm not a scientist so i dont know how it works but im assuming my body made muscle which is why i put on so much but lost inches? Im going to finish this bottle then have a break to see how my body adjusts-i dont want to take them forever! xx

hi all so i thought i would come in and check up with all of you. I am still taking my pills as normal. very little appetite throughout the day but i gotta tell you i really highly doubt i have lost any weight at all. I know this would be harder for me as I have hardly any time at all to exercise. I spend the majority of my day sitting in front of a computer and phone. i dont know if i will continue taking these past the first bottle. i think its awesome im not snacking all day long anymore but for 50 bucks thats not enough for me. oh well stay tuned :)

Good morning

I am new to this forum.  I have been reading but decided to register because I ordered Apidexin last week and received it Friday.  I started it this morning and figured I would log my progress here.  I weighed in at 196.2 lbs. with 23.5% body fat.  My goal is 10 get down to 168 lbs and maybe 16% body fat in 3 months.

I took the pills (detoxufree72 and Apidexin) as directed.  I did not feel sick, nauseous, or jittery and have had no headaches.  The feeling that I got about a half hour after taking them was in a word: warm.  I was somewhat euphoric and warm.  After I finished getting ready for work I ate breakfast.  That was probably an hour after taking the pills.

Along with breakfast I took a multivitamin.  It is my understanding that this fat burning pill and many others are "nutrient depleting" which means that as they work they also make you have to take in more nutrients for your body to function properly.  I won't get into the whole science of it, but just know that you probably need to take in more nutrients now since the pills are A) Causing you to burn nutrients faster and B) Suprressing your appetite so you are not taking in as many.  Oh and lots of water helps too.

So right now I am feeling pretty good.  Will continue on later

DAY 2

I won't be posting every day, but I thought that day 2 results were post-worthy. Got up at the same time as I did yesterday and weighed myself. I weighed 194 exactly .  I was rather startled to say the least.  Can't wait to weigh in again to see if my scale is just broken, but I think I will space out the weigh in next time.  I fear my scale may be broken because when it did the body fat it said 25.3%, but then again who said those body fat scales were reliable anyway :yum:

As far as side effects I did have a bit of a queezy feeling late in the evening.  I wasn't too hungry but some food and water settled it.  However, it did take some time for me to fall asleep last night as I started to feel jittery once I settled in for bed.  I also woke up in the middle of the night thirsty as all get out.  I eventually got back to sleep and woke up to start today.

I took the pills as directed up to this point and this morning I am back to not having any sick feelings.  I will continue to keep you posted.

Thank you for providing the mailing address for returning Apidexin.  Their website does not provide the street address.

I just received my order yesterday and was really looking forward to trying this product.  I feel absolutely terrible today and will not take even one more pill!  The lightheadedness, nausea, loopy feeling is not worth it.  At first I felt like I could barely see straight.

DAY 3

I was ok yesterday morning but by the afternoon I felt a little sick.  Right after lunch I felt somewhat light headed and nauseous.  It went away by late afternoon this time.  Sleep went better.  I was NOT jittery nor did it keep me up.  I slept straight through the night.  I am looking forward to seeing if there is more progression and less side effects in the coming days.  It seems to be the direction I am going.  Since this is the last Detoxufree72 day I hope that the side effects will be even fewer.

Hi,

I am a new member. I ordered Apidexin on November 13 it has been 2 weeks/10 business days and I still have not received my pills. Do anyone know a phone number or address. I was really excited to take the pills but now it is taking to long. I am 5'5 and 185 pounds. I am 20 years old. I was about the same weight when I was 14-15 years old. Then I changed everything I turned into a health nut. I went down to 132-138 pounds. I felt great about myself. I exercised like crazy and ate like a rabbit, very very healthy. I gave up chips, pop, chocolate and candy for 3-4 years. Now that I am out of school and work takes up my time, I find it really hard and I am depressed because my boyfriend makes fun of me for my weight gain. I went home a year ago for a month, I started back to my old routine, exercise and eat less and good. I went down to 149-151 I felt great. 3 months ago I weighed 164 pounds and now I weigh 185. I studied nutrition and I am against diet pills. I just I just gave up because I was crying when I ordered them. I felt like such a failure. I like how you can come on here and read how others feel and hear their thoughts. Again if anyone has a phone # to contact Apidexin please let me know asap. Thanks

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the information. I checked my email at work this morning and I had 3 different emails from apidexin representatives. One said my shipping would take 5-7, the other said 6-10 and the other 10-14. I found this a little odd since they all received the exact same question.  They also informed me that they did not ship my product on they day I ordered it, they waited until the next week which I am very displeased about. One said the pills get held up in customs and a thought I had is maybe because the pills are not FDA approved that this happens. They did not answer my questions about if their company had a contact number, I find this a little odd that it is not displayed on there website. Oh well like I said I am really iffy on taking the diet pills because I feel like they are a last resort, but lately my appitite is almost non-existant because I have the stomach flu, a friend advised me not to take the pills while I am sick because if they do make me sick I wouldn't be able to tell if it is the flu or pills making me sick.  Oh I asked the sales rep. why I didn't receive an email upon them shipping my pills he said "You have to remember that we are shipping diet pills" I don't think that really answered my question. A product is a product no matter if it is food/pills/clothing etc. the companys all have to be professional, accurate in the responses to customers inquires and curteous to ensure that the customers are happy and will order their product in the future. Well those are my thoughts for this morning on my pills that I still have not received.

Greetings everyone,

I just want to share my story of A diet that worked (though there are pros and cons, as you might expect) and the experience I've been having since I started taking Apidexin.

I turned 30 this summer, and I wanted some photos taken to "commemorate" (celebrate?) it like one of my friends did when she turned 30. I'm not a big fan of being taken picture of, (because I usually don't like how I look..) but I thought it'd be nice if I get pictures taken, bind them in a attractive volume and give it to my husband. First of all, my goal is to loose at least 10 kg (22 lbs approx.) in order to be looking decent. I attempted dieting a few times this year, each time lasted about a couple of weeks. I've been thru a numerous yo-yo diet, and the only diet that has gotten some consistent result without starving myself or tedious workout or restrain in calorie intake is the low-carb diet, more precisely "No Carb diet" in my case (!! I'm an extreme kind a gal !!).  Believe me, it really works. Whenever I try that, I usually loose 1 lb per day consistently for about a week and half, no matter how much, or when I eat. Results must be different from people to people, but this really works for me.

BUT, there are a couple of problems. First, I'm a Carb Lover. I should have married to a potato!! And I comfort-eat as if it were an addiction. I think I am addicted to carb- high and stuck in that bad habit. It's really psychological that I just crave carbs  and eat them when I'm not really hungry. I'm psychologically undisciplined when it comes to carb. So I just can't keep a life without starch and suger!!! Second problem associated with this seemingly perfect diet (perfect, I say is because whenever I do this, condition of my skin improves tremendously and noticeably as well, which kind of makes sense) is the constipation. I've already had a bowl problem, (since teenage years) and when I do the NoCarbDiet, nothing comes out as if they resist the gravity!! (I wish Einstein was alive so that I could ask him about "no gravity zone" beneath me!!) But well, it makes sense too, you know? I'm not taking fiber. BUT annoyingly, psylliun husk that usually works perfectly stops working all together. That bad.. Anyway, I won't tell you what comes out immediately after I stop NoCarbDiet and eat pasta. (umm pasta !! my love!! But well, one thing I can tell you is that my eyes glued to what was in the toilet for about 15 min. Umm, tar monster is the word comes to my mind..) So, (cough, cough) if you are disciplined enough to be able to balance the carb and fat/protain intake according to those suggested low carb diet, (unlike me who's very impatient and can't help but start the extreme NoCarb.) AND don't really have a constipation issue, try this. Oh!! MAKE SURE to take Vitamin B complex and  to do a little 3~5 min work out, such as sit-ups. I don't have to require it, but the effect is amazing. Really.

Anyway, I basically fail this diet that should have work flawlessly. I've never liked the idea of taking diet pills (seems hazardous to me..) , nor have I believed they'd work at all. BUT I was desperate! I've missed my husbands birthday (to present the photo album..), and the Christmas is just about a month away, which doesn't give me enough time to loose 10kg, photos taken and make a book!!!!!! AND I'm not going to be 30 any more next July!!! SO, I thought I should at least give a try on Miracle Diet Pill !! (duhh... miracle my butt!!!!) I googled and googled and googled for about 2 nights, and chose Apidexin because its contents seem decent, and the reviews I read were good. I have to tell you that I, somehow, missed this forum when I was researching.. Strange, but true.. Anyway, remember I said that I was extreme? (and spontanious as well.. Sounds dangerous, doesn't it!!!) I bought 6-month supply of Apidexin!!! (came with bottles of Detox as well) Well, I thought I could return them if it didn't work, and get the $ back. It was only about $160 including shipping, so I bought 6-month supply, last Friday. The package arrived on Monday (!?!?) Shipping was so fast that I wondered whether the strange,  eerie, seemingly unoccupied warehouse a block away was actually a secret Apidexin shipping department!!! (haha...) Anyway, I've been on it for 4 days. I haven't had any nausea or headache. I'm always spaced out, day dreaming, if you want to know the truth, but seems that Apidexin does make me a bit more spaced out, which doesn't really bother me though. What bothers me about Apidexin is that now I have a trouble with sleeping. The first day I took that pill, I didn't sleep at all. I mean, I couldn't. The second day, I fell in a sleep in the early evening for about an hour, but after that, I couldn't get to sleep till 7am in the following morning. !! (I leave for work in the afternoon, so it didn't affected on my work schedule.) Same thing yesterday (the third day) and today. I went to bed around 9am this morning (I was up all night again..) and got up around 3pm. I was just lucky that today is Thanksgiving!!!. As my husband and I wanted some privacy, we declined thanksgiving gatherings for this year.  (we are the kind of people who loath family gathering... really. )  I'm glad we did, especially when I got up so late!! Anyway, the thing is, this pill gives you insomnia, and sounds like I'm not the only one. As for the dieting result*, it looses about a pound per day for me so far. I'm not hungry at all...... Very VERY strange. After ordering this pill, I've found that there are things called "appetite suppressers" and I immediately regretted buying Apidexin as it didn't seem to have it. At least the website didn't mention that it had such a thing. HOWEVER, somehow, when I take this pill, I loose my appetite. Just for the sake of it, I try to eat things 30min after taking the pill, and after less than half way thru the food,  I just don't want to eat any more. I find this strange.. I mean, are there something dangerous in this pill that suppresses appetite, which they don't want to tell us on their website!?!?!?! Anyway, I haven't been hungry, thus I've been loosing weight bit by bit everyday consistently. Though I have a serious sleeping problem, I don't have any uncomfortable side effects such as nausea, headach, irritability or memory loss that some people said they experienced. One more strange thing I'd like to mention is that though my scale says I AM loosing weight, I don't look like it. I mean, really. Everything seems the same. My clothe fits the same as before, and I just don't look like I've lost 3~4 lbs. Whenever I lost 4 lbs before, at least, I FEEL PHYSICALLY that I lost weight. Not this time. What is this about!!?!?!

My God, I'd better stop writing. Since I just don't feel like talking to people in my life about me taking a diet pill, I sort of "exploded" in this forum. What a great stress release it has been. (hahaha) Anyway, I'll update if anything more unusual happens.

Hi everyone!

I ordered these yesterday and after reading this thread I wish I hadn't. The side effects remind me of prescription diet pills I took during the late 80s. They were 'anorexics' - and they gave me many of the side effects you're talking about, but essentially, they make your body respond as if you are in an anorexic state where you have very little desire to eat and get hyper. The other side effects (headache, dizziness, etc) are probably due to a mix of the pills messing with your blood pressure and central nervous system as well as perhaps some dehydration. I remember when I was taking those pills I felt like death the first day and actually called in sick to work. Hours later I felt somewhat better. I only took one pill in the morning daily if I remember correctly. Basically, my body went into a state of ketosis. I was in nursing school back then, and I remember taking one of the ketosis sticks and checking my urine and I was pretty much at the highest level.

Ultimately, the pills worked, but without a good workout plan in place, when you go off them you have a huge risk of gaining the weight back partly because your appetite returns, but also because if you aren't exercising, your metabolism ends up stalled from starvation response. So when you start eating normally again, boom! All the weight comes back, which is pretty much what happened to me. Not all at once. I maintained the loss for a bit while I was exercising regularly, but over time I gained to my body's normalized weight for exercising and eating reasonably.

You know, after reading everyone's posts, I decided that I just don't want to put my body through that again. I'll stick with working out as I have been and try to start eating better like I was during the spring and summer. It's just not worth it to me to feel like that and risk messing up my metabolism. I guess I'll send them back before I even open the bottle. I hope they're good with refunds. *sigh*

Follow-up:

So, I've started taking Apidexin on Nov.24th, and now it's almost a week. Like I mentioned before, I hadn't had any side effect other than a serious insomnia till yesterday.

I don't even know if it was due to Apidexin or insomnia, but when I wake up (well, I went to bed around 8am (!!!) and got up around noon. I get to work in the afternoon, so I was cool) my period started. my cycle of period has been irregular all my life, so the timing didn't surprise me. What surprised me, rather spooked me was the way it occurred. I don't feel like explaining the detail, but I've never experienced a period like that. You might be thinking something bloody, but it wasn't. Anyway, though this pill works by making me anorexic, this particular possible side effect spooked me. This was the first time in my life to try a diet pill. And seems I had been right about there is no easy way to loose weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll probably returning this next week.

I received my Apidexin tabs today, only took a few days to get, not a long wait at all. It came labeled and return address is on the front. I was apprehensive to take them after ready the blog, but decided to experiment myself.  Today is DAY 1 and I will write as I take. I took as directed and waited for the side effects! Well, no nausea. After the first pill, about 15 minutes after taking I did feel a little "buzzed" but nothing that was terrible or so bad that I couldn't deal with. Could be that I haven't eaten yet, so we will see. Nothing terrible yet.  Will write more tonight after pills and work out at the gym.  Stay tuned....

Ok, so I went to eat breakfast (I eat breafast late) and something is very interesting about this product.  After a few bites of a yogurt, I didn't feel nausea, but I just don't really want to eat it.  I thought "oh wow, this is strange..."  I was afraid I would feel like when you ride a roller coaster sick, but no just a "oh I don't think I need to eat this sensation..."

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update. It has been 19 days (14 business days) and I still have not received my pills. Mean while I have been eating less portions and healthier food as I have been sick with the stomach flu and I haven't had a big appitite. I also know with a low carb diet this pill should be affective. I studied Nutrition and personal training. During that time I myself lost 60-70 pounds. It was the smallest I ever was. A new years resolution of not eating chips, pop, chocolate, candy, fast food for 40 days and 40 nights turned into 3-4 years on going without those foods.I was a health nut. When  I did decide to start consuming the "bad" foods again I got really sick. My doctor told me that because my body didn't have any of these foods in such a long time they seemed foreign. My body couldn't handle grease so for the first year of eating with bad habits agian I felt terrible, but after a while the body does adjust although my body was trying to tell me that these foods were bad as I was getting sick I just choose not to listen to it.  Now that I moved across Canada to the city I gained most of my weight back, over the last year most of it. I know all the pros and cons and I don't think I will even take the pills, maybe I can do it by myself like before. I lost 60-70 (it flucuated) 40 of it  in one summer by just biking everyday, I did exercise videos 3 times a week and participated in gym in school. I ate well 5 times a day, it keep my metabolisim up. It is better to eat 5 small meals then 3 huge ones. There are lots of healthy delicious snacks that will curve your hunger. I have decided that I am going back to my old ways and if anyone would like help I am here. I know what caused my weight gain because that was my area of study. It was my choice, I am not happy with it but peoples life styles to change derasticaly sometimes, my mother and father devoriced after 21 years when I was in grade 12 (2 years ago) and thats when I started gaining most of my weight back again because I have an eating disorder that has been in my family a long time and that we still struggle with. COMPULSIVE EATING. I studyed it and I was horrified, I would binge on anything and everthing I had in the cabinets, then I would start a diet, also known as yo-yo dieting.  I was not awear it had a name I thought it was just me. I would eat everything that I wanted before I started my "new diet" where these bad foods I was eating, I wouldn't eat anymore so I had to get them all in before hand. I know it is pathetic on my part but I never knew I had an eating disorder like I said I thought it was just me because my mother would also eat compulsivly especialy when we were unhappy. My mother was close to 300 pounds, after my father left her she lost close to 80 pounds she is like 217-225 now and looks fantastic and feels great. I tried to help my mom over the course when I was training but she had no will-power as my father would constantly tell her how fat she was. If there is anyone on here who is in that situation I know it is hard because I have experianced that myself, but if you can turn that hurt and anger into modivation like my mother did after my father left that is great. But remember never lose weight to make someone else happy or for them to like the way you look, do it for yourself.  Thats something I just realized myself.  Also it is hard with the way the media portrays how a woman should look. Looking back marilyn monroe had the perfect shape. She was curvy. Now days all the younger girls want to be just like the latest pop stars and run way modles. T.V. has a big influence on woman also. Next Top model for example even I catch myself saying "wow I wish I looked like that." So right now I am uncertain it I am going to take the pills. One thing I do know is I have to love and be happy with myself, and find the will-power again and modivation to get healthy and fit.

Sorry for the long spreal guys!!!!

I live in Alberta, Canada, but like I said in my prior emails I have been in contact with the representatives and they each have told me a different time spand. First 5-7 (and thay all know where I am located) days, then 7-10, 6-14 and then 10 -14 . I am not even excited to take them anymore. I think I can do it on my own but maybe I will see use it as an experiment.

Hey Heavy,

I am in Pennsylvannia, but I have heard that it has taken longer for deliveries in Canada. Also, with it being US Thanksgiving Thursday through the weekend, you may see longer delays, who knows. Best of luck and I hope you get your pills soon. :)

I was curious as to weather anyone has been on these pills for more then about two weeks. Everyone seems to be quiting them at about that point.  If anyone has kept up with them please let me know. I'm curious about the long term effectiveness of them. I was on Adipex (perscribed pill) and I lost 35 lbs in 3 months, but after while they stop working.  I'm tying to find something that works and lasts.

Thank you
