Our newsletter is written by Megan Porter, Registered Dietitian. She has a background as a research dietitian, weight loss instructor and diabetes educator.
Ms. Porter received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon, and a Post-Bachelorette in Food Management and Nutrition from Oregon State University. She attended the Mid-Willamette Valley Dietetic Internship before receiving her accreditation as a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. Ms. Porter became certified in childhood, adolescent and adult weight management through the American Dietetic Association.
